We are looking to expand our team.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Developing and planning the AI Factory’s (AIF) portfolio of training offers within a friendly and open work environment in a highly motivated, international team
Leading the design and organisation of training events and series, collaborating with and coordinating other trainers
Ability and willingness to contribute with your knowledge to training (and consultancy) offers for the targeted user groups
Analysing the requirements and needs of targeted user groups with respect to training (and consulting)
Coordinating and organizing the corresponding work package of the AIF
Fostering contact with collaboration partners as well as stakeholders from the European AI ecosystem, relying on your friendly personality and communication skills
Supporting AI talent development in Europe and Germany by means of training and consulting within the AIF’s ecosystem
Opportunities to work with national and European partners on novel AI projects from private and academic sectors
Maintaining relationships with technology providers and system developers (hardware/software)

Basic Qualifications:

Required/Minimum Qualifications

PhD or Master’s degree in computer or data science, or other areas of scientific computing with at least 3 years of applied data analytics and machine learning/AI experience as senior engineer/data analyst in research or enterprise environments

Other Requirements

Proficiency working in Linux environments
Extensive knowledge about and practical skills applying Machine Learning/AI applications, frameworks, methods and models (e.g. Python, PyTorch, JAX, etc.)
Willingness to keep up with current developments and to learn new technologies
Knowledge and experience designing and organising training events and series as well as conducting your own training events
Excellent English and preferably German presentation and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Git-based version control systems like GitLab or GitHub
Customer relationship management know-how
Experience working at or with start-ups/small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)

Conditions:

Area	Big Data and Artificial Intelligence
Working time	full time (40 hrs) / part-time possible flexible working model with electronic time recording
Term of the contract	End of Q1/2028, a further employment is intended
Remuneration	up to E 13, see Entgelttabelle TV-L
Annual leave / compensatory time off	30 days (24.12. + 31.12. additionally day off) Overtime is compensated by additional time off
Further trainings	Individual support for in-service training and further education
Mobile work	up to 60% of work time, when applicable
Benefits	e.g. bus and subway (U6) on the doorstep, free parking, pension plan of the Versorgungsanstalt des Bundes und der Länder (VBL), state-of-the-art work equipment
